It's official, we are having a blizzard. The first snow storm hit this past weekend. Two things happen when a snow storm is getting ready to hit. We all go to the grocery store, but some of us go to the fabric store. I will never forget this storm, because it's the storm that caused me to start this blog. Last week, when I heard that the snow was on its way, my first concern was, what will I do while I am stranded? Off I went to the fabric store. The roads were becoming slick already and very few people were out. Fortunately, the fabric store was still open! I decided I wanted to make a pair of jeans, something I have never done. In desperation, I picked up the very expensive pattern V2973 (Montana, Vogue Paris Original). Dear reader, you can get this much cheaper online, but I panicked and needed a project right away. The current status of the jeans are, almost finished. I need to attach the waistband and finally hem them up. I will post a picture once I am done and update you on how that project progressed as the snow kept falling and still does.
The fact is, I need to get a real digital camera so I can download some pictures to this blog. In the past, all pictures were taken on my cell phone. To my chagrin, the cell phone is in its last days due to getting wet in the snow.
I look forward to meeting many new people from this blog and thank you for joining me on this new adventure!
